Career in General

  • He worked in both Bindura south and Bindura North when there was no Member of Parliament after the death of the late Hon. Manyika. He began development projects which are still in progress such as the Chireka, Chigigi Secondary School and dongo reMbanda Primary School which are under construction. Poultry projects for all villagers in Bindura South and Agriculture for youth.

Political History / Career

  • He was part of the formation of the People s' Movement in Bulawayo. He then became Vice Provincial Youth Organizing Secretary up until 1976. In 1977 he became an active supporter of the Liberation Struggle and in 1979 worked with the Matebeland North Youth Wing. In 1981 he transferred to Bindura where he worked with the people there and was subsequently elected DCC chairman in 2008.
