Composition

The House of Assembly is composed of a total of 150 members as follows:-

1. 120 members elected from the 120 constituencies,
2. 10 Provincial Governors;
3. 8 Chiefs representing each of the Provincials with the exception of the metropolitan provinces of Harare and Bulawayo; and
4. 12 Members appointed by the President

 
The Attorney General is an ex-officio member of the House but has not voting rights in the House
